About Brian:

Starting percussion studies at the age of 9, I have fallen in love with the percussion world.  In 2009, I graduated from Lyons Township High School and now I am currently studying percussion at Northern Illinois University.   

My favorite aspects of music are the concepts that create it and the collaboration between musicians during its expression.  I am very interested in other people's visions.  I want to experience the creativity within the people around me, becuase I am all about the experience.  Within music I am striving for many different experiences and the best experiences possible.  This goes for myself and my audience.

Outside of music, I enjoy riding my bike, zombies, and thought-provoking movies.  

 

About Angela:

Growing up in Ingraham, Illinois in a rural farming community, I began my piano studies at age 7 and percussion studies at age 14. I received a bachelor’s degree in music education from Millikin University in 2005 and am currently attending graduate school at Northern Illinois University.

Education is one of my biggest goals. I love teaching students of all ages in a variety of settings. I currently own and operate a private percussion and piano studio and began a percussion ensemble program in 2008.

I love expressing myself through music and dance (although I never had formal dance training until 2009). I love performing and connecting with fellow musicians and audience members.
